Inhalte: The Ring seminar deals with current trends and associated challenges of digital societies. This includes. for example, the digital transformation of work processes, the role of AI in the digital society, or changing conditions for public communication in a hybrid media system. These subjects will be reflected upon and discussed through joint text reading as well as together with invited experts.
Lernziele: The aim of the seminar is to provide students with an overview of current technological trends in digital societies and their social consequences. This should enable the students not only to identify relevant phenomena of digitization, but also to recognize their consequences and the associated needs for transformation management.
