Inhalte: In the multifaceted world of science, it is essential to familiarise yourself with the basics and methods of scientific work. This course provides an in-depth insight into the core principles and techniques required for successful scientific work. What is science? - A journey through the history and philosophy of science to understand the development, importance and impact of science on our society. Formulating a research question - Learn how to ask precise and relevant questions that pave the way for sound research. The art of the term paper - From structuring to final editing, discover the steps to writing a compelling academic paper. Researching sources - Immerse yourself in literature research techniques to find reliable and relevant sources for your paper.Group project: Support for the Zeppelin project - In an interactive group work, the knowledge learnt is applied and deepened, with a special focus on supporting the Zeppelin project. This course serves as an introduction to scientific working methods and as a platform to foster critical thinking skills and arouse curiosity about scientific discoveries. In this course, we both lay the foundation for future academic endeavours and together hone the ability to view the world around us with a scientific perspective.
