Inhalte: The module provides students with a basic insight into general psychology and how major theories on motivation, cognition and interaction can be applied in the business context. This will provide students with an understanding of human behavior in organizations from a psychological perspective. The course will offer insights into the neuro-scientific background of human behavior and basic psychological processes, including perception, learning, problem solving and decision-making and which role they play in business acitivities like negotiations, advertising, or motivation.
Lernziele: Students · are able to recognize and interpret the influence of psychological processes in different business contexts; · are able to understand and apply key psychological theories and concepts to develop solutions to problems and challenges in organizations; · are able to critically reflect, evaluate, and adapt processes and practices in businesses based on psychological considerations; · are able to apply taught concepts in different business contexts and scenarios.
