Inhalte: The seminar offers an in-depth look into Anglo-American Public Speaking, Rhetoric and Presentation Techniques currently used in business, science and politics. We will discover how masters of the art like Steve Jobs, Al Gore, Michelle and Barak Obama or e.g. Winston Churchill have designed and structured their presentations and how they deliberately create charisma, persuasion and credibility. You will learn core skills of how to come to the point quickly and finish on time, become a witty and self-confident speaker and how to inspire your audiences and get their undivided attention. Major Topics: • Charisma & self-perception • Advanced speech structuring • Powerful introductions & key-messages • Sales presentations • Political speeches • Lectures & academic talks • TED-talks & free speeches • Using a manuscript • Body language & performance skills
Lernziele: Students will enhance their abilities to give speeches and innovative presentations in front of an international audience and to represent their company, organization and themselves with confidence and persuasive ease.
