Inhalte:
The aim of this module is to raise students’ comprehensive awareness of economic issues. They will receive an introductory overview of the main areas of economics, especially micro- and macroeconomics. The respective underlying theories are applied to current economic policy issues.
Lernziele:
The module enables students to analyze economic problems by applying basic micro- and macroeconomic methods and models. Moreover, they have gained deeper understanding of the methodological foundations of economics and central concepts of economic thinking.
