Course content:
| Transport Economics: Modern concepts and applications
| Infrastructure and its importance for the development of mobility
| Financing and institutional framework conditions for the provision of infrastructure
| Externalities of transport: Theoretical concepts and internalization strategies
| Social, technological and ecological trends and their significance for mobility
| "New Mobility" and its relevance for the sustainability of the transport sector
| Transport and environmental policy strategies, regulation of the transport sector

Educational objective:
The students
|  have mastered the concepts of modern transport economics and can apply them to concrete problems.
|  are familiar with the relevance of infrastructure for the development of mobility.
|  know the concepts of the externalities of transport and are able to evaluate internalisation strategies.
|  are able to reflect critically future trends affecting mobility.
|  are able to reflect critically the sustainability discussion in the transport sector.

Further information about the exams:
The planned examination consist of an individual paper (12-15 pages, 70%) to be prepared during the course and a presentation (30%).
