Course content:
Enhancing knowledge in empirical methods to study the consequences of the digital transformation for employees in organizations. Building on theoretical models and concepts in the management and applied psychology literature, there will be an introduction to different quantitative empirical approaches like experience sampling or team experiments.
Educational objective:
Students
| are able to understand and evaluate advanced empirical methods in the study of organizational life and behavior;
| are able to select research methods compatible to research questions connected to the digital transformation of organizations;
| are able to articulate arguments regarding emerging technologies through formal research questions that have practical relevance for organizations;
| are able to understand and evaluate the consequences of new digital technologies for the performance and well-being of employees.
