Course content:
Enhancing knowledge in methods of quantitative synthesis of research findings. Building on theoretical models and concepts in the management and applied psychology literature, there will be an introduction to the logic, different purposes, and the application of meta-analysis for studying practically relevant research questions.
Educational objective:
Students
| are able to understand and evaluate meta-analytical methods in the study of organizations;
| are able to develop a meta-analytic study design based on research questions in organizational research;
| are able to understand and critically evaluate results of meta-analytic studies.
