Inhalte: This is a seminar for early stage doctoral candidates. It is dedicated to your improvement in academic writing and aims at researchers with at least some experience in writing for major academic journals. --> How to derive sound academic papers from completed research projects? The workshop includes topics such as: identifying publishable parts of completed research projects, converting research into papers, positioning and structuring the paper, designing a compelling introduction, preparing the literature review, writing the main sections (e.g., literature review, research design, data collection, data analysis, discussion and conclusion) and an overview of the publishing process (journal selection and review). A sequel is planned some time ahead (2 days workshop on "Advanced Academic Writing").
