Inhalte: This courses deals with teh structure and interaction of financial markets. Subjects covered during class will be: 1. Market microstructure of financial markets: Stock markets, derivative markets, commodity markets 2. Price efficiency and market quality 3. Volatility spillovers and financial crisis During the second part of the course students will be assigned to a research question on which they will have to give a presentation and hand in a short essay (appr. 5 pages).
