Inhalte:
This course is a general survey course covering some of the major ideas and visions to be found through the ages in various works of political philosophy.

Accordingly, we will read both original works and some secondary literature related to them with the parallel goal of fostering close readings and lively discussions.

Course Expectations/Grading:
This class will be run as a seminar. Class participation, close readings, and an end of the semester term paper of 12 to 15 pages will be required.  The term paper topic will be chosen in consultation with myself.
